The Rwanda Genocide started in April 1994, then ended in June of the same year. This event started when Juvenal Habyarimana was killed. He was on an airplane when it was shot down on April 6th 1994. He was the president of Rwanda and was the only reason for this Genocide to start. This was the largest Genocide to ever hit Africa. At first, this was only at the capital, but quickly spread to the entire country. This went on for three months before coming to a halt in June of 1994.

I think that the Rwanda Genocide could have been avioded because it was a stupid thing to blame someone for and it should have never happened.
